The Hellmann’s digital presence was dated and inconsistent so naturally an opportunity opened to re-align and recreate their online customer experience.

Our ambition was to create a site that resonates taste while positioning Hellmann’s as a foodie brand that's inline with new lifestyle choices and individual values. We wanted to inspire consumers, be associated with trending and top dishes and known to elevate meals to become something to share with family and friends.

After leading the creative to a pitch win, I worked alongside strategy and UX, marrying up the business and user requirements to form a website strategy as well as UX and design principles. Once these foundations had been laid we set to work creating the look and feel.

With an emphasis on craft, the website is rich with texture and detail that contrast with clean and contemporary UI elements. We used big, real images to tell a story of taste, quality and provenance and placed hand printed illustrations and type to enhance autheticity and craft.
